  • The secret penny

    The penny has now been found!

     

    Thanks to everyone who took part and congratulations to the finders.

     

    The penny was located in The Museum of British Surfing (thanks guys!) in Braunton and was found in an incredible 25 minutes!

     

    We've put the answers to the clues below if you want to check how you did.

  • Clue one:

    Where, not far from the Studio KIND. gallery, might a classical Hero occasionally land?

    ANSWER: Saunton Sands, where the huge Hercules C-130 transporter plane sometimes practices landing.

  • Clue two:

    These are found in the Sea, and in Dickensian Streets.

     
    ANSWER: Urchins
  • Clue three:

    You'll want to avoid these deathly drags when swimming in the sea.

     
    ANSWER: Rip tides, or Rip currents
  • Clue four:

    Which North Devon baby seabird has a sickening habit?

     
    ANSWER: Fulmar chicks
